Types of consumers
Members
A Member is a person who purchases with ARIIX. You are able to purchase discounted ARIIX products, qualify for product discounts through the Autoship Program and IIX membership, acquire an income position within the family tree, and earn product rebates for your large orders. Members completed a Member application form, agreed to the terms and conditions, as well as the policies and procedures, and were sponsored by another ARIIX Member or Representative.
Representative
An ARIIX Representative has all the privileges of a Member (as long as they adhere to the Enrollment Form), plus additional rights. These include, but are not limited to, the ability to enroll Preferred Customers, Members or Representatives. Additionally, ARIIX Representatives are able to earn commissions based on their activity within the ACTIV8 Compensation Plan. A Member has the right to become a Representative under the following conditions:
Introduce another individual customer to ARIIX products and want to receive commissions from ARIIX for the sale of those products, or
Enter at least one person or entity that enrolls as a Preferred Customer, Member or Representative with ARIIX, and wishes to receive commissions for the volume generated, and
You sign another Representative agreement with ARIIX, which makes you eligible.
Partner
A Representative's business is known as a Distributor.
Direct Clients
A Direct Customer is a person who purchases products directly from an ARIIX Member or Representative. Direct Customers are not enrolled in ARIIX. The Representative determines the price paid by Direct Clients for ARIIX products, which must be equal to or higher than the acquisition price paid by the ARIIX Representative. However, ARIIX strongly recommends that the sale price be the suggested retail price that is approximately 43% above the best price at which a Member or Representative can purchase ARIIX products in light of the 15% discount they receive if they are in Autoship and an additional 15% if you are an IIX Member. This gives Representatives the ability to make a retail profit based on the difference between their price paid and the price they received for the products sold.
Preferred Customers
Preferred Customers are registered with ARIIX and pay the retail price. However, when they enroll in the Autoship program, preferred customers will receive 15% of the retail price as long as they remain in that program.
Preferred Customers cannot sponsor Representatives or Members, and cannot earn commissions through the ACTIV8 Compensation Plan. They are not offered any income position within the ARIIX genealogical organization. All volume generated through Preferred Customers is assigned to the sponsoring Representative and placed within their organization during that commission period that would generate the highest commissions for the preferred client sponsor during that commission period (see Auto-Balancing plus ahead).
